A customer who wants
to stop service, must tell the
Cooperative at least five (5) days before the requested disconnection
date.
The minimum 5 day notice
period begins:
- On the day that the
customer telephones the Cooperative.
- When the customer
informs the Cooperative in person, at the business office.
- Three days after the
customer has mailed the notice to the Cooperative
If the customer has signed
a written contract for a term of years under an Agreement for Electric
Service with the Cooperative, the customer may stop service only
under the terms and conditions as set forth in the Agreement for
Electric Service.
The Cooperative must
confirm the disconnection, if the customer asks.
