Mississippi County Electric Cooperative, Inc. (MCEC) is accepting Resumes/Applications for a Member Service Representative.  The position requires experience in customer service.  As one of the first points of contact, candidates will be responsible for providing members with superior service over multiple channels including personal interaction, phone conversations, email, and/or fax.  Customer Service skills will be applied in several ways, including responding to members, investigating and resolving member concerns, initiating service requests, handling payments, explaining billed rates as well as other requests to meet member’s expectations.

Successful candidates must possess strong interpersonal, listening, problem solving, verbal and written communications skills, coupled with an attention to detail, good organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments.  A high school diploma or GED is required, Microsoft Office Word and Excel knowledge preferred. 

MCEC is an electric distribution system located in Blytheville, AR, serving approximately 3,500 members over Mississippi County.  Candidates must live within a 25-mile radius of MCEC, due to work during inclement weather.
